Doesn't even start for me. (Win 10 2004)
Pops up in Task Manager and then disappears.
Starting as admin doesn't help either.

The same happens for all History Editions from 1602 to 1404 :/

i got it to work, but it seems the game language depends on the windows language.
after i download the language pack from cs rin ... it runs

i will change my win language and will test without language pack to proof it ^^

Can confirm, start is pretty laggy, also for 1602 - running from a 960 pro SSD.
However, i'm on 1903 PRO. No admin required for both.

Language looks like to be english only, changing windows language didnt work for 1602 and 1701 - last one has only eng files in its folder so guess those needing it in german may dl the language pack.

When i start 1701 in German windows language, it looks like this: https://ibb.co/ccTCmRn

edit: just figured out even with windows back to eng/us, 1701 is still bugged.. And it also hangs like shit when i exit it.. 1602 all fine but eng only too.

ok, what i found out so far...
your windows region (maybe language too) should be united kingdom, not usa than it will work... but we all know that sucks ^^

you have 3 ways to get it to work for you
- just download the language pack with all supported languages
- go to data\loca (example for german region windows) and just rename the selectlanguage_eng.ini to selectlanguage_ger.ini
- or you change your complete windows to uk ;)

Replace the 'uplay_r1_loader64.dll' with any other than Razor199's UPlay Emulator and the game will work.

Anno_1701_History_Edition_German_Language_Pack-P2P

Deutsches Sprachpaket zu Anno_1701_History_Edition-Razor1911

Installation:
1. Entpacken
