What is this, you might ask? Well, this little baby will get you a valid
Diablo II key, every time. It's not a true keygen, but a bruteforcer.
We won't get into the specifics, but if you're bored, read on.
Diablo II has already shattered sales records - which is amazing, does
anyone really want to shell out that much cash for such horrible
resolution? In any case, with half the world using FLT's key (pretty
noticable if you like to play at work, or on the school network, for
example), we thought it might be nice to get an original serial. Plus,
we got tired of people complaining that "some website xxxx'd out the
key from the NFO". So, since Eclipse's D2 Beta bruteforcer doesn't work
on the final, we brought you this.
But wait! Didn't some group called TNT release a keygen? Well, yes and
no. TNT's so-called keygen is NOT a keygen. Here's a few notes from
our own coder/cracker, who can actually do REAL work, unlike TNT it
seems:
"When I saw their (TNT) release I was a bit suprised that it didn't
brute-force a key but instead displayed valid keys right away.
Then I noticed it was coded in Visual Basic... something was kind of
fishy about it. As some of you might know, VB is a limited language,
plus it misses some commands such as shl/shr, etc. The Diablo II algo
uses shl/shr, hence making a keygen in VB is impossible. Later I noticed
that I kept getting the same keys over and over (from TNT's keygen).
Looking at the EXE, I found a fat list of HARDCODED serials. This
is NOT a keygen... that's pure crap. It's just a list of about fifty
or so serials, which are spit out at random."
We've included ALL of the serials from TNT's so-called "keygen",
in the file SERIALS.TXT - and we're willing to bet TNT just collected
these serials at random, from boxed copies and websites.
Installation Info
You know the routine... unrar, and run BIABLO2_BRUTEFORCER.EXE on the
game to get your valid key. Remember, this will NOT work on Battle.net,
so don't bother to try.
General Comments
The boys in the scene are always hard... stop talkin' that trash or
we'll nuke ya hard.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon... certainly hope we will, I sure
could use a vacation...
