A young man has an affair with an older woman. He
is very jealous of her husband and decides that they
should kill him. One night, after the husband had
plenty of sake to drink and was in bed, they
strangle him and dump his body down a well. To avert
any suspicions, she pretends her husband has gone
off to Tokyo to work. For three years the wife and
her lover secretly see each other. Finally, a man
suspicions become very strong and people begin to
gossip. To make matters worse, her husband's ghost
begins to haunt her and the law arrives toe all,
investigate her husband's disappearance.
PROPER NOTES:
QiX released this fine movie back in 2002, but
their rip has several problems which was based on
the low quality DVD that was available at the time.
First, it is FS when OAR is 1.66:1, it is also a
bad PAL to NTSC conversion, which I guess QiX tried
to correct (notice the 24.975 framerate on their
sample). Unfortunately, its still got some ghosting
and interlace artefacts apparent, see screenshot we
enclosed. Also it's stereo for mono and hardsubbed..
iLS now brings you a proper taken from an
anamorphic PAL src with OAR and MUCH better picture
quality.
A warning to the squeamish - very graphic sex
scenes in this movie - consider yourself warned.
