PLOT

Das  kleine  und   erfolglose  schottische  Fussball-Team   aus  dem
Fischerort Kilnockie hat  einen neuen  Trainer  und bekommt  so eine
ganz neue  Chance  -  den  ehemaligen  Fussball-Star  Gordon  McLeod
(Robert Duvall).  Der Besitzer  des  Teams,  Peter Cameron  (Michael
Keaton), sorgt dafuer, dass das Team nach Dublin verlegt wird - dies
allerdings nur aus finanziellen  Gruenden - und kauft  auch noch den
Topspieler Jackie McQuillan (Ally McCoist) ein. Dieser laeuft wieder
auf zur Hochform und bringt das Team bis ins Finale...
