The Simpsons S13E04 (CABF21) - The Blunder Years
When Homer takes Marge out for a much-needed night out on the
town, the pair dine at a nightclub where a hypnotist places
Homer under a spell. Unable to snap out of it, he's left
screaming even after he goes home. Lisa concludes Homer is
traumatized by some terrifying event of the past and has a
repressed memory. Marge cooks up a memory-sharpening tool
causing a hypnotized Homer to reflect on his past escapades
in search of the origin of his paranoia. Homer's trace down
memory lane leads to some shocking discoveries...
release notes
I'd like to start off by giving a big shout out to all
our loyal and dedicated fans out there (big up to the
#futuramavcd crowd) who know where it's at and who make
the shit go down properly. Secondly, as most of you
or, God forbid, saw, aAFVCD took upon themselves to
contaminate us all with some of their latest effort
to make a few of us blind for the rest of our lives.
Those attempts to force me to embrace necessity have
have been made possible thanks to their sadistic amd
maniacal demon ripper, and the weapon they've used to
achieve their plans of mass destruction - their latest
rips.
Some say they're just a bunch of complete and utterly
moronic bastards and their ripper is a clueless and
untalented error of Nature. I assure you though; no
human being could ever have made such craptascular rips
without having some greater evil scheme in mind.
Most people's first thoughts last Saturday morning could
be best summed up in the following sentence:
"Well, that's nice, ANiVCD got a pre-air out. It's of
comparable quality with FE's and came out before; we
weren't expecting that." But what they really weren't
expecting, what no one could have ever predicted was
that aAFVCD would, for a reason unclear to this very
day, attempt to start off their evils plans which I
mentioned early on. What could have pushed them to such
madness? After all, we know bandwidth is precious and
shouldn't be wasted. Fortunately, there was probably
only a limited amount of banwidth going down the drain
due to aAFVCD that day thanks to the fact they were
ludicrous enough to include a sample of their vile
creation. Note to the masterminds behind aAFVCD's
abomination: Do not include a sample of your releases
in the future if you would like to infect more sites.
Still, the rest of the TVRip community stayed silent
to these horrible doings that probably disconcerted
them beyond belief. A few hours later, most laughed
mildly at the thought of it. Funny isn't it, when in
moments of shock, the brain doesn't seem to be able to
transmit the right signals of stimuli to the brain
anymore... it could have passed like that, an incident
among many others. For sure, one that would be
remembered for a long time and which would coin more
than one expression such as "Dude, if you were any
lamer, you'd be an aAFVCD release." or "Yeah, I have to
go to the bathroom take an aAFVCD, I'll be back later."
Unfortunately for all of us, the world was shaken last
Wednesday night yet again. Again, my friends, by that
organization known as aAFVCD, which no words can
describe. This time, they dared to disrespect not only
ANiVCD in the most blatant manner possible, but also
all members of the TVRip scene, its curries, good
good siteops and loyal fans of the show Family Guy...
They came out with another one of their attacks on our
wellbeing, draining our resources into the void of
nothingness. This time stamping it with a slap in our
faces, the PROPER label. Now, there's been heated
discussions in the past about PROPER encodes. "Did the
preceding release really necessitated another encode,
a properly encoded one, which would let everyone
benefit from its superior quality?" Some have been
necessary, some not so necessary. The quality of these
propers had always been better, or at least similar.
This all changed on that day, when aAFVCD tried to shove
down our throats what could have won the worst encode of
2001 award as a PROPER to a fine release. Think about
it for a minute...
I suggest you all consider how much bandwidth, time
and energy aAFVCD has made us all lose up to now. Their
goal is uncertain, but one thing is for sure: it's
unholy; nothing good will come out of their shameful
encodes.
Nukers, be advised, aAFVCD will be a group you'll be
dealing with a lot in the future. That is unless the
siteops, in their infinite wisdom, set an example once
and for all and ban aAFVCD off their sites.
This would also tell the vermin of the scene that such
things will from now on be unacceptable. The time has
come to make a difference in the TVRip scene for all of
us. Let's all do our part to make things change - for
the best.
- Azek
This text was written dec 7. It seems that aAFVCD
thought that sample was a bad idea too, giving them
a 5-30 min nuke delay. clever.
