MW5 Mercs Editor Patch:
Hot-loading of Mod assets no longer causes packaging errors. Mod Makers who were using the provided workaround to disable hot-loading prior to packaging no longer need to do so.
The asset browser no longer shows assets from inactive Mods.
Fixes for the additional Known Issues highlighted in our last Editor Hot-Fix are still in progress. We'll keep you posted on those upcoming updates!
Best Practices:
It's always a good idea to back up your mod work, and save games folder before a patch arrives.
In order to back up your save game:
Open File Explorer
Click the address bar at the top
Copy-paste the following line and hit Enter:
%localappdata%\MW5Mercs\Saved\
Back up the SaveGames folder
Mod Makers should make sure their mod assets are backed up before proceeding with the editor updat
