Game Update 1.1 (1404 HE)
Fixed an issue with the Steam version always launching in English regardless of
the preferred language selected in your Steam settings. The game will now
launch in nor preferred language, and default to English if your Steam language
is not supported by Anno 1404 History Edition.
Fixed an issue with the Venice expansion being stuck on a black screen when
booting up. This could happen for users with non-ASCII characters in their PC
usernames.
Fixed an issue with sandstorm effects not ending as the are supposed to under
certain circumstances. Sorry storm, you had your fun.
Fixed a multiplayer issue that allowed all players to buy a new flagship if one
played lost or sold their Silver Flagship.
Fixed an issue with players' coats of arms not being properly displayed on flags
in the game.
Fixed various stability issues.
Game Update 1.1 (1503 HE)
Adjusted sound behavior (both music and SFX) when speeding the game up with F6.
The sound should no longer disappear when doing so.
Fixed an issue that prevented multi-placement from working for Aristocrat
houses.
Fixed an issue with the background image in the options menu appearing slightly
stretched under certain circumstances.
Fixed various stability issues.
Game Update 1.1 (1602 HE)
Fixed an issue that prevented the narrator's voice from playing after confirming
saving with the ENTER key.
Fixed an issue that lead to the credits video stuttering when the mouse was
moved outside the video frame.
Fixed a multiplayer issue that could trigger an incorrect player state when
saving right before a player is about to lose the game. For context on this
issue: When a player is about to lose (e.g. no ships/buildings left) a hidden
countdown will start to give the player a chance to recover. If the player is
unable to recover during this time, they will lose. If a multiplayer game gets
saved during that countdown and then loaded again, the game will erroneously put
this player in a spectator mode.
Fixed various stability issues.

Fixed an issue that prevented users of Windows 8.1 to revert resolution back to
a previously used setting after changing it in the settings menu.
Fixed an issue in the multiplayer lobby with changes to the game settings made
by the host not being properly displayed for other players.
