Plot Summary:
After years in the U.S., a man returns to his childhood beach in Australia to surf with his teenage
son. However, a territorial group of local surfers, led by the menacing Scally, humiliates him and
enforces the rule: Don t live here, don t surf here. Determined to reclaim his past, the man
refuses to leave, igniting a tense conflict that spirals into obsession and madness. The Surfer is a
sun-drenched psychological thriller exploring themes of masculinity, identity, and the fine line
