They have very close quality. FRA was finally found to have slightly tighter and more consistent grain and was therefore chosen.
* Audio. FRA has framerate 24 fps, while USA has framerate 23.976 fps. Since FRA does not have the
English dub and USA has only a French 5.1 downmix, the English dub from USA had to be reencoded with
DTS-HD Master Audio Suite to get a lossless DTS-HD MA 7.1 track at 24 fps. It was checked in
Audacity that the channels were properly mapped.
* The UHD BD has only inferior CMv2.9 DoVi metadata. The iTunes web-dl had CMv4.0 DoVi metadata and
HDR10+ metadata. As the HDR grades match
