DESCRIPTION

Der aegyptische Pharao Khufu (Jack Hawkins) will sich ein Grabmal und damit die
groesste Pyramide der Welt von dem gefangen genommenen Baumeister Vashtar bauen
lassen. Gegenleistung ist die Freiheit fuer Vashtars versklavtes Volk. Von seinen
Untertanen fordert er indes Arbeiter, die beim Bau helfen. Da Zypern den Tribut
nicht zahlen kann, wird Prinzessin Nellifer (Joan Collins) geschickt. Der Pharao
findet Gefallen an ihr und macht sie zu seiner zweiten Frau - sie hat allerdings
nur eines im Sinn: Ihn toeten und Macht und Schaetze uebernehmen.
