In den 70er Jahren sangen Louis und Floyd in dem Soultrio 'Marcus
Hooks and the Real Deal'. Dann wurde Marcus solo ein Superstar,
waehrend Louis und Floyd nach vergeblichen Anlaeufen als Duo im Streit
voneinander schieden und in der Anonymitaet verschwanden. Nun ist
Marcus verstorben, und Louis und Floyd sollen beim Gedaechtniskonzert
auftreten. Die Aussicht auf ein Comeback scheint verlockend, doch
zunaechst muessen ein paar alte Probleme ausgeraeumt werden. Eine
gemeinsame Cross-Country-Reise im Cadillac soll dabei helfen.
